Welcome to my blog!
Hope you enjoy your stay!
-------------------------------------------------
My names Kadisha but just call me Kay for short. Ever since I could remember I have always aspired to pursue a career in fashion. I still have fond memories of picking out my own clothes to wear to preschool and giving my mother a hard time keeping up with all my new hairstyle demands. When I look back I realize that although I have come a long way in my style quest, but the one essential thing I always held on to was to keep true to myself. In case you are unsure of how this applies to fashion I will explain. It has always been my goal to keep up to date with the current fashion trends, however, if I feel it does not suit my personal taste I will not subject myself to wearing it. I hope that by expressing my style opinions openly and honestly it will assist others in their style expedition.

I truly have a love for the arts whether it is visual or performance art which is why I chose to attend an Art University. I always felt that by associating myself with people who share similar interest to me it would help me expand my thinking beyond its limit. I'm majoring in Material Art and Design minoring in photography. Hopefully at the end of my program I can further pursue my dream to launch my own clothing line as well as a reputable style blog. My cultural background is of Jamaican and Guyanese roots, which is why I find it very important to have diversity and multiculturalism.

One of the most important lessons my family taught me is that; “you must live within your means”. My family taught me this important lesson because it is one that has carried me through life. If you can’t afford to buy that $600.00 hand bag if it is something you truly want, you will put in the effort to get it. My boyfriend taught me an important lesson about working around my paycheck to save money for my dream purchases without emptying my wallet or maxing out my credit cards. Just remember that good things come to those who wait. The number one rule I hope to share with other young girls is that you can look just as chic spending $15.00 or less at the thrift store of outlets as you would shopping at high end brands.
